Kind reminder of the deadline extension:
We would like to inform you that the Deadline for Submission of your research document for the AUB Faculty Research Grant has been officially extended to 28 February 2022. 

The Asfari Institute for Civil Society and Citizenship is delighted to announce the launch of its Faculty Research Grants. We aim to award this annual faculty research grant to up to 5 AUB researchers and scholars engaged in research around the following thematic areas:
Civil society / Citizenship / Feminism / Gender Social justice / Intersectionality / Social movements
This is a participatory, cross-faculties and cross-institutes selection process. The conditions and criteria:
  1. Contributing new knowledge to any of the areas above
  2. Providing opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students to
    partake in the research and co-author knowledge products
  3. Disseminating knowledge in conventional as well as unconventional formats
  4. Willingness to share outcomes and learning with the Asfari Institute as well as other institutes and faculties within AUB
  5. Ensuring that gender analysis and intersectionality are integral to the research methodology used
6. Awards to be announced on March 31, 2022
